Many participants who start nervous end up attempting jumps by the end of the session, but there’s zero pressure—your comfort and enjoyment come first.

You don’t need to be super fit, but a moderate level of fitness helps you enjoy the experience more. You’ll be swimming, climbing, and scrambling for around 90 minutes. If you can swim 25 meters and climb a flight of stairs without getting breathless, you’ll be fine. We tailor the pace to the group’s ability and take regular breaks.

The nearest car park to our meeting point at 4 Alma Place is Tower Road Car Park (TR7 1LS), just a 2-minute walk away. Parking fees apply (typically £2-4 for a few hours). We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your session start time to allow for parking and check-in.

Yes! Many participants love capturing their coasteering adventure. We recommend a secure head or chest mount for action cameras. Handheld cameras or phones risk being dropped or damaged. If you don’t have a GoPro, just ask—we often have photos from sessions that we can share. Just remember, your instructor’s priority is safety, not photography.

Due to the nature of our coasteering routes in Newquay, spectators cannot safely observe from the shore. The routes traverse technical coastline that’s not accessible or visible from public areas. We recommend spectators enjoy Newquay’s beaches, cafes, or shops during the session—we’re usually back within 2-2.5 hours including gear-up time.

Safety always comes first. If we need to cancel due to unsafe conditions (high winds, dangerous swell, or storms), we’ll contact you as early as possible—usually the evening before or morning of your session. You’ll have the option to reschedule free of charge or receive a full refund. We monitor conditions closely and make the final call 2-3 hours before session time.
